Some people eat to live, but I live to eat!  I LOVE food and ALL kinds of food at that!  Here, I share some of my favorite recipes which I hope you'll try and consider sharing with your family and friends. 

Lemon Butter Tilapia

Single Pan Baked Tilapia & Asparagus in a Buttery Lemon Glaze


-½ Stick of Butter

-2 Cloves of Freshly Pressed Garlic

-Juice of 2 Freshly Squeezed Lemons




-4, 6 oz. Tilapia Filets

-1 lb. of Fresh Asparagus




-Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees.

-Grease your baking pan thoroughly with butter.

-Melt ½ stick of butter

-Combine the melted butter, garlic, and lemon juice in a small bowl and whisk it together.

-Place the tilapia filets in baking pan.

-Line the outer edges of the pan with the asparagus.

-Pour the lemon butter evenly over the tilapia filets.

-Sprinkle them with salt, pepper, and a dash of paprika for color.

-Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until fish is tender enough to flake with a fork.

Shrimp Alfredo Pasta


-1 lb. of peeled shrimp

-1 jar of Alfredo Sauce

-2-3 tbsp. of Olive Oil

-Old Bay Seasoning


-Place olive oil and shrimp into a pan.

-Sprinkle shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning...be generous!

-Saute shrimp for approximately 10 minutes until it’s completely pink.

-Place the shrimp and alfredo sauce into a small pot and heat the sauce until it’s warm.

-Pour the sauce over your choice of pasta.


Chicken Fingers

Buttermilk Ranch Chicken Tenders


-1 lb of chicken tenders

-2 cups of flour

-2-3, .4 oz. packets of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix

-2 eggs beaten

-2 cups of buttermilk

-2 cups of canola oil


-Combine the beaten eggs and buttermilk into a bowl and mix.

-Place the 2 cups of flour and ranch dressing into a bowl and mix.  Add seasoning to taste if necessary.

-Drench each chicken tender in the buttermilk and egg wash.

-Coat each chicken tender liberally with the flour/ranch mix.

-Heat the oil in a medium sauce pan.

-Fry the chicken tenders in small batches 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.



Copycat Longhorn Steakhouse Salmon


-2 cups of Bourbon

-2 cups of Soy Sauce

-2 cups of Brown Sugar

-4, 6 oz. Salmon Filets




-Combine the bourbon, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a storable container and mix thoroughly to make the marinade.

-Rub a each salmon filet thoroughly with brown sugar and then place them into the container with the marinade.  Filets should be completely submerged in the marinade.  Add additional marinade if necessary.

-Place the container in the refrigerator and let it sit for 24 hours.

-Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees.

-Grease a baking pan thoroughly with butter and place the salmon filets in it.

-Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until fish is tender enough to flake with a fork.
